Dietitian
12 Month Maternity Leave position commencing 27 July 2023
Northern District Community Health (NDCH) is seeking a Dietitian to work within its Allied Health team for a 12 month maternity leave role.
This is a 1.0 FTE in our not-for-profit community health service but part time will also be considered.
This role is varied and will include working over several NDCH sites with community members to reduce the impacts of chronic disease, supporting Residents living in local Residential Aged Care Facilities as well as NDIS and privately funded community members seeking support for dietary issues.
This position requires the ability to work independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary Allied Health team and broader NDCH team.
NDCH plays a unique and critical role in our rural communities, providing a wide range of accessible, integrated and interdisciplinary services. Predominantly funded through state and federal governments, the current NDCH team of 75 qualified and experienced members provide community health services including aged care services; disability services, allied health; general practice; counselling; housing; drug and alcohol services; health promotion and community nursing.
NDCH prides itself on providing locally and place based services in small to medium regional towns, small rural communities, and dispersed farming communities where other available community supports are minimal. NDCH staff are located across these regional and rural areas, providing a workforce who can deliver a greater reach with place based knowledge.
Our footprint spans the Gannawarra, Loddon, Swan Hill, Buloke and Campaspe LGA’s and operates out of six sites located in Kerang, Koondrook, Cohuna, Quambatook, Pyramid Hill and Boort.
