Podiatrist
Full Time (Part Time Considered) Position
Northern District Community Health (NDCH) is looking to employ a professional and friendly Podiatrist to join the NDCH team to work with community members in well-equipped NDCH clinics in Kerang and nearby towns.  
​
The successful applicant could be either a new graduate or a more experienced Podiatrist as the work at NDCH allows for supportive development of both levels of experience. This person will work within a Footcare team that includes another experienced full time Podiatrist and two Footcare Allied Health Assistants. Podiatry services are provided under publicly and privately funded arrangements including the NDIS.

The client care includes general podiatry, biomechanics including orthotic scanning and high risk foot care. The role is well supported but has a high degree of autonomy over time allocations to attend to both clinical and administrative requirements. 

This person will be part of a diverse Allied Health Team and will be well supported by the broader NDCH team that includes Nursing, Community Support and Health Promotion as well as a Medical Clinic.  A commitment to interdisciplinary team work and highly effective communication skills are a must in this role.  NDCH is an equal opportunity employer and encourages suitably qualified applicants from all backgrounds including those living with disability.

A generous salary package is available for this role including flexible client workload, financial assistance with professional development costs - including covering some attendance costs and the use of a fleet car.


The position will be cover NDCH catchment area of Gannawarra and Northern Loddon.
