COVID-19 Screening and Assessment Clinic

​What is the Screening and Assessment Clinic?
The NDCH Screening and Assessment Clinic (SAC)is one of the screening clinics established in Victoria to screen people with COVID-19 symptoms.

This is a free service to all Australians who meet the Commonwealth eligibility criteria.

The purpose of the clinic is to provide testing for people who meet the current criteria in their state.  Current testing criteria for Victoria can be found at www.dhhs.vic.gov.au

Do I need to make an appointment to be tested?
Yes, you must make an appointment to be tested.  To make an appointment you should phone us on 5452 1366.

The Screening Clinic line is open Monday to Friday. Test occurs from 11am, please call to book before hand.

Please let staff know if you require an medical certificate for work purposes.

Where is testing conducted?
Testing is conducted at the NDCH Medical Clinic under the carports in the car park off Scoresby Street, Kerang (Please remain in your car).  We are also doing testing in other locations as demand requires including some pop up clinics.  Please contact us for more information on 5452 1366.
(Other sites may be added as needed, depending on demand)


What to do on arrival
Please follow the directions from the staff in the car park.  You will need to remain in your vehicle at all times.  Staff will confirm your personal contact information and explain the testing procedure to you before conducting the test.

After the test, you will be given an information pack.  All patients being tested for COVID-19 are required to isolate at home until you have received your test results.

How will I get my results?
You will receive a text message from the pathology company or one of the NDCH team will call you with your results.  You will be provided with confirmation of the results in writing if required by your employer.

Please note that due to the volume of testing, it can take 2 - 7 business days for results to come back.
