What changes are on the way?
As of September 2018 this service will provide the Vic Roads accredited Drink or Drug Driver Behaviour Change Program (BCP).
BCPs are designed to help participants identify the underlying causes of their offence and teach behaviour change strategies so that it won’t happen again. The program can also help to identify and address issues with alcohol or drugs and may include referrals to specialist treatment services for people with a serious alcohol and/or other drug problem.

The ‘Drink and Drug Driver Behaviour Change Program’ is a program approved by VicRoads under the Road Safety Act 1986. Northern District Community Health is one of a number of providers approved by VicRoads to deliver Drink and Drug Behaviour Change Programs."

More information about the Behaviour Change Program can be found on the VicRoads website: www.vicroads.vic.gov.au.
