Health Promotion Worker - Full Time
Full Time Position

Northern District Community Health is seeking to employ a Health Promotion Worker up to five days per week to work in the prevention of ill health focusing on Mental Health, Active Living, Healthy Eating and reducing smoking and Family Violence in Gannawarra and Loddon Shires.

A Community Health : Health Promotion Plan has been developed and the successful applicant will contribute to the deliverables of this plan.

This role requires a person who can work independently on the project while being collaborative with other NDCH team members and partner organizations. 

The successful applicant will work within the Health Promotions Team but will also be supported by the broader NDCH team.

The position will be based at Northern District Community Health’s Kerang site.

A drivers license is essential. 

Education, Qualifications and Experience:
Degree or diploma in a relevant field, or demonstrated industry experience in a relevant discipline such as Health, Social Welfare, or Nursing with experience in developing, implementing and evaluating projects in community development or health promotion.
