Occupational Therapist
Full Time Position available
Northern District Community Health (NDCH) is looking to employ a professional and friendly Occupational Therapist to join the NDCH team to work across the Loddon Mallee Region including the Gannawarra, Loddon and Swan Hill Local Government Areas.
The successful applicant could be either a new graduate or a more experienced working full time in an ongoing position to work with clients funded through the Department of Health funded CHSP and HACCPYP services as well as some participants through the NDIS. This role will contribute to a person-centred experience for clients/participants as they strive to achieve their personal functional goals.
This role is supported by two other experienced full time Occupational Therapists. Externally, this role will be supported by a Loddon Mallee Chronic Disease Community of Practice and peer support network.
This person will be part of a diverse Allied Health Team including Podiatrists, Speech Pathologist, Dietitian & Diabetes Educators and will be well supported by the broader NDCH team that includes Nursing, Community Support and Health Promotion as well as a Medical Clinic. A commitment to interdisciplinary team work and highly effective communication skills are a must in this role.
