Our Nurses

Jenny - RN (Nurse Team Leader)
Jenny joined NDCH in 2010 in Health promotion and Community Health Nursing, then joined the team in the clinic as a practice RN in 2016.
She has experience in many aspects of nursing over a period of 34 years including a midwife for 26 years, theatre RN for 9 years & emergency Nursing.
She is a WREN & is CSWD trained, continues to love Nursing after all these years, especially in a rural clinic working alongside such experienced & skilled GP's.
She works casually at Cohuna District Hospital also to maintain acute Nursing & Midwifery.
"I feel very privileged to work for NDCH and to be part of the very skilled, passionate & Caring Nursing team and within an organisation who have such a positive culture & who value & support their employees".

Beth - RN
​Beth joined the nursing staff team in 1997 with previous experience in midwifery and theatre nusing.

Beth has now worked for over 20 years as a practice nurse and has a keen interest in wound management and immunisation and loves being part of the team at NDCH.

Shannon - RN
​Shannon joined our team in 2008 after several years working in the hospital system as a nurse and midwife in Melbourne, Swan Hill and Kerang.  She has a special interest in wound care, immunisation and community health. Shannon also works locally for the Gannawarra Shire as a nurse immuniser.  Shannon loves being part of the team
 at NDCH.

Suzzie - RN
Suzzie was born and raised in West Melbourne and is the second of four children.  She completed her nursing degree at Mercy College, Ascot Vale in 1992.  Suzzie has had experience in General Medical Nursing, ENT, Urology and Diabetes Education at the Western General Hospital Footscray and The Alfred Hospital in Melbourne.

The Family has had a tree change and moved to regional Victoria in 2007 and moved to Kerang in 2014.  Suzzie has 3 children and loves Coffeeeeee, antiques, caravaning holidays to the beach, fishing, op shops and her family.

Our Nurses can assist with:
  • Health Assessments
  • Wound Management (WREN nurses on staff)
  • Spirometry (Lung Function Test)
  • ABI (Ankle-Brachial Index test)
  • ECG's (Electrocardiogram test)
  • Ear Washouts
  • Venesections
  • Assisting GP's with minor surgical procedures
  • Blood Pressure & Hear Rate Monitoring
  • Removal of sutures / staples
  • Disinfection and Sterilization of instruments completed onsite

Deidre - EN
​Deidre joined the team in February 2007, at the same time as commencing work at Kerang District Health, and continues to do so.

Deidre has a special interest in wound care and also enjoys all the challenges of working at the clinic alongside our GP's to achieve the best outcome for our clients.

Lana joined the team in 2009 after many years of working in the hospital and aged care at Kerang District Health.  Lana has a special interest in wound care and aged care.  Lana also continues to work as a nurse at Kerang District Health.  Lana loves being a part of the friendly team at NDCH.

Michelle - EN
Michelle originally joined our nursing team in 2001, before leaving for a short time.  Michelle has worked over the years in the hospital sector and aged care.  Michelle has a strong interest in wound care, aged care and community care.  Michelle continues to work as a client adviser for home care packages locally.  Michelle enjoys and feels it's a privilege being a part of the NDCH team.
