Exercise Physiologist or Physiotherapist
Part Time Position
Northern District Community Health is looking to employ an Exercise Physiologist or Physiotherapist 2 days a week to facilitate the Cardiac & Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program until 30/6/24.
The successful applicant will be leading an established program alongside a Program Support Worker. This person will be well supported by a diverse Allied Health Team of Occupational Therapists, Diabetes Educators, Podiatrists, Paediatric Physiotherapist, Exercise Physiologist, and Allied Health assistants.
This program aims to connect with community members who would benefit from a short exercise and education program that increases their knowledge and skills to improve their cardiac, pulmonary or diabetes condition.
The successful applicant will need to have completed the necessary Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation training through the Australian Centre for Health. Professional development support will be available to complete this training within six months of commencing employment to deliver this program if needed.
A commitment to teamwork, demonstrated skills in evaluation and highly effective communication skills are a must in this role.
A drivers licence is essential.
