Generalist Counsellor
Full Time Position - 12 month term with the possibility of it becoming an ongoing role
Northern District Community Health (NDCH) is looking to employ a full time Generalist and Alcohol & Other Drug Counsellor. The successful applicant will work in the Gannawarra and Northern Loddon Shires. This programs' objectives are to work collaboratively with a client to facilitate insight, change and growth using a goal focused approach. As well, to support people of all ages dealing with a range of issues including life transitions and relationships, addiction, abuse, mental health and many other areas of health and well being. Past experience working in this area would be desirable.
This role would be supported by the Community Support Team that includes another Generalist Counsellor and AOD Counsellor, Rural Withdrawal Nurse and a Credentialed Mental Health Nurse as well as the broader NDCH team. Monthly external clinical supervision will be part of the support package for this role.
